The Guardian
Review (6/10)
(By Sean Cullin)

The Guardian stars Kevin Costner as Ben Randall, a legendary rescue swimmer for the Coast Guard. After losing his crew in an accident that he blames himself for, Randall is sent to be a trainer at 'A school', where Coast Guard recruits are trained. Randall proceeds to use unorthodox methods, to say the least, to see if the recruits truly have what it takes to sacrifice themselves so others may live.

Grind House
Review (7.5/10)
(By Sean Cullin)

When I first saw the trailer for Grindhouse, I wasn't really interested in seeing it. I've never been into the 70s exploitation genre, so the idea of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez paying homage didn't pique my curiousity. Gigli
Review (6/10)
(By Brendan Cullin)

Gigli is pronounced like "really". That is the one thing I learned from the movie. It starts out calling the main character Gigli, pronounced like it is spelled, but B-Lo soon clears all this up. He says, "It sounds like really".

Gigli is the story of Larry Gigli (B-Lo), a Californian gangster who is assigned to kidnap the retarded brother of a federal prosecutor. His boss Louis, sends another mobster to make sure Larry do ...

"Ghost Town" stars Ricky Gervais as Bertram Pincus, a dentist who undergoes a routine colonoscopy, dies for 7 minutes, and wakes up with the ability to communicate with the dead. One of the dead people he sees is Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear). Frank wants Pincus to help break up the forthcoming marriage of his widow Gwen (Tea Leoni) to a human rights lawyer on the basis that he thinks the lawyer just has his hand in his widow's pocketbook. (In rea ...

Get Smart
Review (7.5/10)
(By Erin Cullin)

As I watched the end credits during a screening of “Get Smart” this past weekend, I was struck by what was not listed. Anne Hathaway and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson each had their own hairstylists (because, as we all know, Dwayne Johnson has those long flowing locks that need tending). They also both had their own personal assistants.

Steve Carell, on the other hand, had no one. No special hairstylists. No special make-up ...
