Release Date Changes: November 3rd 2008

'Zephyr' is back with the latest batch of release date changes, including what could be the renewal of a long thought dead project:

The Kate Beckinsale-led arctic thriller has been pushed back from April 24th 2009 to September 11th.

The Informant
The Steven Soderbergh-directed political-drama has moved back one week from September 11th 2009 to September 18th. It could have been considered insensitive to put a politically-charged film on 9/11.

Wild Child
The Universal teen-comedy starring Emma Roberts has been scheduled on May 8th 2009, competing against Next Day Air and My Life in Ruins as counter-programming to J.J. Abrams' Star Trek.

The Rogue Pictures action-drama starring Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard will come out April 24th 2009.

The Three Stooges
MGM has scheduled the long-gesturing revival of the legendary slapstick trio on November 20th 2009. The project was all but considered death when the Farrelly Brothers weren't able to finalize a deal and Warner Bros. allowed the rights to the characters to expire.

The feature film adaptation of the Broadway musical starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kate Hudson, Marion Cottilard, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, and Fergie has been moved up from December 11th 2009 to September 9th 2009. However, Focus Features has scheduled the sci-fi animated post-apocalyptic nightmare "9" starring Jennifer Connelly and Elijah Wood for the same date, so it could be very confusing for consumers.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
The 20th Century Fox mythical epic, which just last week was scheduled to compete against "The Last Airbender" on July 2nd 2010, has avoided direct competition of the film by moving the film up three months to April 2nd 2010.
