BBC Develops "The Great Escape" Adaptation

The BBC is developing a serial TV drama series based on the iconic 1963 Steve McQueen film 'The Great Escape'.

GK-TV and Open Circle are developing the project which comes out of another deal The BBC has with Open Circle for a series based on Anne Holt’s novels about wheelchair-bound female detective Hanne Wilhelmsen.
