Jay Beattie, Dan Dworkin Pen "Scream"

"Criminal Minds" and "Revenge" scribes Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin will pen MTV's small screen series adaptation of the "Scream" horror franchise.

MTV also confirmed it would be piloting the horror franchise at its Upfront presentation in May.
