The eight-episode, second series of the Victorian-era crime drama "Ripper Street" has scored a premiere date in the U.K. of Monday October 28th at 9pm.

Damien Molony ("Being Human") and Joseph Mawle ("Game of Thrones") join the cast this season as a young cop and a new inspector respectively. Joseph Drake will appear as the real life Joseph Merrick (aka. the Elephant Man) who becomes involved in an investigation.
