The 83rd Annual Academy Award nominations have been announced and "The King's Speech" and "True Grit" lead the pack with twelve and ten nominations respectively, followed by "The Social Network" and "Inception" with eight each.

Also faring well were "The Fighter" with seven, "127 Hours" with six, "Toy Story 3" and "Black Swan" with five, and "Winter's Bone" and "The Kids Are All Right" with four.

British historical drama ‘The King’s Speech’ is leading the nominations for this year’s Baftas with 14 nods.

Tom Hooper’s film about King George VI is up for best film and director while Colin Firth is up for best actor.
