The Rob Marshall-directed musical adaptation starring Daniel Day-Lewis and a large female ensemble featuring Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, and more has moved from the gimmicky September 9th 2009 (09/09/09) date for the more prestigious November 25th release, as well as to avoid confusion with Focus Features' "9".
