Australian actress Melissa Bergland ("Winners and Losers") has landed the starring role in Deanne Foley's indie comedy "Relative Happiness". Filming begins at the end of October in Halifax.

An adaptation of the novel by Lesley Crewe, the story centers on a Bridget Jones-like character and her extended family in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
